Found a way to help me rev up my motivation. I committed to participate in The Big Slice Off over at Big Slice of Life, Small Slice of Cheesecake.
As part of this challenge, I'll be taking a photo of my scale (with me on it) **gulp...gasp** each Monday morning and posting it for you all to see. I'll also be planning my meals each week, which will also help me get back on track with my "What's Cookin'" posts. I'll post the menus on Sundays and the weigh in on Mondays. I find that keeping myself accountable to other people helps motivate me and keep me on track.
I also thought I would share some of my favorite blogs that are dealing with weight loss. Some of them are all about weight loss, some are like mine where they blog about lots of stuff, but about weight loss also:

I was scrolling through Technorati stuff and found your blog. I am impressed that you are talking about weight loss on a blog! I loved the reference to the socks in the previous post. I will have to check them out, as I have never spent that much on socks either. Good luck!

awwwww....Thanks darlin!! I'm hoping my next weight loss post is more inspriational. I can happily report I've been doing much better this week. With the excepttion of my Starbucks Venti Mocha addiction I've been kicking some booty!
