A Virgin Birth I Can Believe In!

Loved this story today out of England that Flora, a pregnant Komodo dragon, fertilized her own eggs and is expected to give birth (right around Christmas, seriously) to 8 baby dragons! This article on CNN gives more of the specifics, but basically scientists are saying that nature found a way.

Maybe THAT would explain the virgin Mary? Was nature just "finding a way?"

Nahhhh.

It is however, interesting to think that maybe the species that will out last the rest of us are those that can procreate on their own. Wouldn't surprise me.
