Tonight was Chipolte Chicken and Rice night. We added some rolls and some guacamole to go with the main course. The kids didn't like the chicken, but we did. It was just seasoned with a pre-made chipolte marinade.
The best part was the music. Last time we did an Italian meal I decided that it would be fun to do a little abiance music that was themed with whatever we were having (which is much easier some nights than others). All of the boys kind of gave me a hard time when I put on Dean Martin singing "That's Amore" with the Italian meal, so I kind of stopped doing it. Then tonight, Payton was a little late to the dinner table because he decided we needed some Latin/Spanish music with our dinner. We listened to:
"El Kilo" by Orishas
"Suavemente" by Elvis Crespo
"Bruca Manigua" by Ibrahim Ferrer
"Cielito Lindo" by Los Lobos
"Guateque Campesino" by Ibrahim Ferrer
Cena divertido! Cena delicioso!
Yum...what's the recipe?
