Footage of a shot I took while on a Moonlight Monument Tour went awry in Washington DC. After posting this to my Flickr page, it got picked up by NowPublic which I hadn't heard of before, but looks rather cool!
We got 10.5 inches of rain in the last couple of days. Just shy of the 12 inches of rain associated with Katrina! All kinds of stuff is still shut down. Biggest bummer for me is the National Archives which I had hoped to see tomorrow mornging before blowing this popsicle joint. I guess the Declaration of Independance and the Magna Carta will have to wait for another day.
Please keep your fingers crossed for me that I don't hit one of the "scattered thunderstorms" as I take off tomorrow either here or at O'hare which is my one stop on the way home. I love flying, but not in and out of storms.
I am worried about the weather too! I want to get home tomorrow!

Fab picture, I can see why it got picked up. DC is my hometown...hope it wasn't too awfully steamy while you were there. That rain was something else.
