What's That You Say, Mrs. Robinson?

T minus 9 days until lift-off

I'm finding a lot of great info on the various places in India and Bangladesh that I will be visiting just one week from now. Here is a nice 8 min. video about Dhaka which is were I will be spending almost 4 full days (far longer than I will be in any one place for my entire 11+ days. I will post my own video and photos from my trip, but here is one that I thought did a nice job of giving me a flavor for what I'll be seeing.

 

Getting ready for India

I find myself reading and listening to everything I can about India and Bangladesh in preparation for my trip in about a month. I must admit, I'm both crazy excited and also somewhat anxious about the trip. This is a big event in my life and I'm really wishing I could share it with Dan. Accepting that we both need to be able to experience things in life that are important, but not necessarily with each other all the time, is a big change for me. I'll be very thankful that Skype exists, I'm sure....

In the mean time, I thought I'd share some photos of places I will be likely to visit. Eventually you will see my OWN photos of these places here!

I think it is safe to say that I will not return as exactly the same person I was when I left. My business events and meetings are relatively nailed down at this point and now I am tasked with "what else do you want to see while you are there" thoughts.  I'm a bit overwhelmed already. Excited, thrilled, anxious and overwhelmed.
